A Santa Barbara Surf Girls Documentary Fund-Raising Party

Surfer Divas organized a fund-raising party to benefit the Santa Barbara Surf Girls Documentary. It was a great event, and everybody seemed to have lots of fun. The money went to pay for a cameraperson to shoot the girls surfing in Hawaii.

Part of the success of this occasion was the amazing music from our talented musicians: Kalin Charles, The Omar Cowan band and DJ Zen Pluto with Lyricist IZE. We of course could not have done this event without the support and help of Shaun Tomson, and Liz Mooy .

The benefit included a bachelorette auction from 4 members of the Santa Barbara Surf Girls group. They did a remarkable job and raise significant money. Not to mention their courage for standing up on stage!

We are also grateful to have the support of our sponsors: PABLOSURF, A-Frame Surf Shop, Stateside, Pink Vodka, Surf Twig, Betty Belts, Surfrider Foundation Santa Barbara Chapter, Santa Barbara Channelkeeper, Save Naples, and Lizzie Jeans and Kathy Zuckerman, the real Gidget.

We also want to mention the great camera work from Jennie Reinish from Tidepool Pictures. She was able to do a fantastic job capturing the spirit of the event.
